Here’s a new year story that will never get old, and definitely one for the ages! Check out how @thinkjamil battled the risky roads to Mechuka and conquered them all!🙌🼠“I and two of my colleagues decided to celebrate New Year Evening in Mechuka.🎆 We were told to bring a car with enough ground clearance by the host.We decided on Kushaq for its space and backseat comfort. We topped up the engine oil before the trip as Kushaq was nearing 12k KM on the odometer and the roads we were about to take were demanding.🚘Roads to Mechuka from Tezpur, Assam are a mixture of both plains and high mountain climbs.â›°ï¸ The first 6-7 hrs of the drive are in the plains, and it is where Kushaq shines the most. Kushaq stayed planted throughout, and the back seat was comfortable. Next, when we entered Arunachal Pradesh, roads were a combination of potholes, mud, steep climbs, and descends.In the next 12-hour journey we climbed some scary steeps and hairpins with offroad-like conditions. Kushaq was carrying us forward with great enthusiasm, and the mountain climbing capability of the tiny engine of Kushaq Active really impressed us.ðŸ‘🼠We were sure we had to fill normal petrol in Mechuka, but to our surprise, Kushaq was so economical on Mountains.Once in Mechuka, we went near the China border and that place had some snow. Kushaq felt very confident on those sparsely snow-covered roads.â„ï¸ We didn’t go into fully snow-covered roads as we didn’t have chains.🛣ï¸On the return trip, we did it on a single go with 19 hours of driving (all three of us drove) and a few snack/meal breaks. Kushaq was much faster to descend partially because of good braking performance and partially because we got accustomed to mountain driving.ðŸ”ï¸In a few stretches of beautiful roads we encountered, we didn’t hear any rattle.
